I'm Nicole, and I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate the complexities of their lives through Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
In our fast-paced world, feelings of anxiety, perfectionism, and the pressures of high achievement can often feel overwhelming. Whether you are an athlete aiming for peak performance, a new parent facing the challenges of pregnancy and postpartum, or someone dealing with trauma or life transitions, I am here to support you. My specialties also include eating disorders, betrayal trauma, and couples therapy, all centered around fostering connection and understanding.
IFS is a transformative therapeutic approach that helps you explore the various parts of yourself—some of which may be holding onto pain or fear. By understanding these internal dynamics, we can work together to heal those parts and resolve inner conflicts. EMDR complements this process by facilitating the reprocessing of traumatic memories, allowing you to move beyond past experiences and embrace a more fulfilling life.
An essential aspect of healing is connecting to the body. Our emotions and experiences are often stored in our physical selves, and by tuning into bodily sensations, we can unlock deeper layers of healing. Together, we will create a safe and nurturing environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain insight, and develop strategies for growth.
I am committed to helping you uncover your strengths and find balance, empowering you to thrive in all areas of your life. If you're ready to embark on this journey toward self-discovery and healing, I invite you to reach out. Let’s work together to cultivate a deeper understanding of yourself and create the life you desire.
When I’m not in the counseling room my husband and I are parents to loving our toddler and newborn at home. We joke about how he has two therapists as parents so he will grow up talking about his feelings and we will be saving for his therapy fund for all the ways we are going to mess up. When we both aren’t seeing clients we are taking him and our golden retriever, Magnolia, to the river or lake and reminiscing on what it was like in the quiet days before parenthood where our biggest worry was if our dog got free chasing squirrels.
