Welcome! I applaud your courage in taking the first step! Have you dealt with some very difficult things in your life? Have you found it challenging to move past it and don’t want it to affect your life any longer? Do you seem to have the same struggles in relationships over and over again? Do you or a loved one find yourself feeling powerless over an addiction? I believe one of the most courageous things we can do is reach out for help. My passion is to help clients get to the root of what is causing their distress, and together, find a path toward healing and wholeness. My desire is that you feel understood, seen, and known; that someone truly cares about what you are going through. As we walk through the difficult places, I will provide you with a warm, safe space where you are accepted just as you are.
In working together, my hope is that you will come to discover insights and tools to freedom you had yet to explore. Together we will discover new patterns of relating to yourself, the world, and others. I specialize in working with trauma, addiction, childhood abuse/neglect, and codependency/ boundary issues. I also enjoy working with clients who are dealing with anxiety, shame, and difficulties in their relationships.
I partner with individuals, couples, and families from a trauma-informed psychodynamic perspective. Likewise, I utilize a cognitive approach to explore how your thoughts and core-beliefs may be affecting your present experience, while bringing a fresh perspective to your circumstances. I look forward to taking the journey with you toward genuine healing and wholeness!
A little more about me :) For fun, I enjoy being in nature with my black lab and golden retriever; going hiking, kayaking, and to the beach. I also enjoy spending quality time with family and friends. Exploring new restaurants is always tasty, and I would love to do a 5-Star Michelin tour throughout the US someday.
