Our world moves at an ever-increasing pace. It can be easy to get caught in the hustle of culture and lose connection to our dreams, our values, our bodies, our stories, and ultimately, ourselves. This can result in overwhelming feelings of disappointment, confusion, anxiety, and a sense of powerlessness. My hope is to offer my clients a space to pause and breathe and a place to rest. It is no secret that the world can be a harsh place to exist, and it is my greatest privilege to come alongside the stories of my clients, wherever they are on their journey. My work consists of creating a sacred space to process what is important to them, naming the beauty that exists, tending to places of joy and hope, and affirming each person’s inherent worth. This begins with bringing your holistic self -mind, body, and soul-to the table.

As humans, we are wired for deep connection to ourselves and to others. We do not exist in a vacuum, and what has been hurt in a relationship must be healed there as well. Through story work and the lens of attachment theory, we will bring to light how your past may be influencing your current experiences, and how your current patterns are informing your sense of self and pursuit of life. Through this process of reflection and meaning- making, we can work towards reauthoring the narratives that have held power in your life and create a future that is rooted in freedom, joy, and truth.  I truly believe the path to healing and restoration is available to all, and to be able to walk with you as you move towards intentional and wholehearted living would be a deep joy for me.

My incorporation of creative art and somatic experiencing into trauma processing began in my own journey of healing. As a classically trained pianist and percussionist, I’ve spent years telling stories through sound and using music to make  meaning. My creative expression has continued through a career in professional photography. The past 8 years of shooting weddings and families has given me a particular skill for bringing peace to chaos and finding beauty even in the midst of complexity. At the same time, I have personally experienced the power of the mind-body connection through my practice of yoga over the past 13 years and completion of 200-RYT training. Clinically, my therapeutic work in a treatment center for trauma and eating disorders inspired an interest in the biological impact of trauma and how it is coded in the brain and body. I enjoy incorporating creative arts, mindfulness, and movement interventions into my work with the intention of bringing holistic healing to my clients and alignment of mind, body, and spirit.
